Coaching

What is Coaching?

The best way I’ve heard it described is that counseling is archeology (digging in the past) and coaching is architecture (building the future). For me, coaching is all about moving individuals forward with a solution to a problem or towards a goal. Coaching relies on building a relationship of trust where I can address an issue, roadblock or obstacle an individual or group is facing and then help identify the next steps in moving forward productively. As a coach, I become a safe place to vent, a sounding board and an external partner that can see issues from a different perspective. Think of Tom Brady having a quarterback coach or Tiger Woods having a swing coach. The coach can’t do the job better than the individual but they can see things from a different perspective which allows them to provide valuable input and guidance.

In the 10 years I have been coaching, I have worked with C-Suite Leaders, Mid-Level Managers, and new supervisors, in multiple different industries, helping them become the leader they want to be. An ideal coaching session is when the client brings an issue they need help figuring out and we dive right in to identify the next steps to success. All coaching sessions are kept confidential with no third party reporting. For coaching to be the most effective, you have to feel free to say anything you need to say without fear of it being shared.

All coaching packages include unlimited phone, text and/or email support directly with me. I understand life happens and issues come up, so if you need me in-between sessions, we can schedule a time to connect at no additional charge.

Individual Coaching

Sessions can be done via zoom or in-person, depending on your location.

Half-Day Coaching

(ideal for your entire Senior Leadership Team)

Standard package includes 2 half days a month (8 hours total) to use for coaching, training or a combination of both; it’s completely customizable to cover your needs. Examples include; 4 people receiving 2, one-hour coaching sessions per month, 8 people receiving 1, one-hour coaching session per month or 2, four-hour training sessions per month.

I have had the most impact on organizations that allow me to coach the entire Senior Leadership Team. This coaching structure allows me to have a better understanding of the workings within the whole organization versus getting just one person’s perspective.
